RoLy-PoLy

Can't believe it's almost the end of August! The boys are shedding out their summer coats - crazy to think school has started here already... wasn't it just May?

Not much new to report here.  It's been pretty quiet and I've been busy with non-horse related goings on, so they boys have been doing a lot of eating.  And sleeping.  And eating...

Some of us need a diet...
I interrupted nap time to worm them.  They were thrilled.

Yes, Sunny... I am talking about you!
It's been so warm and dry, the pastures are getting brown and crunchy, and the ground is like concrete.  With farrier and a chiro appointment for Sunny on the agenda, I haven't been riding other than the occasional spin around the field bareback.  Sometimes I just can't resist hopping on for a minute or two.  But no real riding.

Thunder, too!
On the good news front, it looks as if Thunder may be heading for the trainer soon!  Hooray!!!  Other than that not much news to report.  Must go catch up on my blog reading and see what all of you have been up to :)

Oooh! Fuzzy ponies :) I think pony ears in the winter are one of my favorite things.

The boys say, "Thank you for the compliment! - LOL!
